Below we have provided a list of question that we get asked most often. What is a Backstage Pass Party?

We realize that there are many different options to provide your child with a unique party. We wanted to create something a little different. Rather than provide a parent with a single theme, we wanted to give a parent many options, all at the same location. In this way, you can choose the theme that fits your child’s interests. What makes a Backstage Pass Party Different?

We believe that the Birthday Child should be the center of attention for his/her birthday party. As such, we make sure that our Guest of Honor is the focus of the party. Each party is designed to be 2 hours long, and the children will be together (under our supervision) the entire time, allowing a true party atmosphere, just as though you did it in your own home. The interaction from our entertainers and staff is constant, to ensure that an exciting time is had by all.  Go to Top


For what ages are the parties designed?

Our parties are varied to be suitable for children from ages 2 to teen. Because there are many types of parties, they can be designed to be age appropriate. Younger children can enjoy a Princess Party, a Pirate Party, a combination Princess/Pirate Party, a Superhero Party or a Tea Party. As they get older, they may choose a Science Party, a Gameshow Party or a Rock Party. Of course, a Magician Party or a Ventriloquist Party can be staged for any age. We also provide a “Backstage Buddy” Party, which is similar to a Build-a-Bear™ workshop, but with all of the advantages of our full-service parties.  Go to Top


What if my child’s interest don’t fit your categories?

Please call us and let us know your child’s interest. Perhaps we can design a party that will fit. Of course, we may have our limits, but it never hurts to ask. Go to Top


How long do the parties last?

A Backstage Pass Party is designed to last two (2) hours. The first hour of the party is dedicated to entertainment, whether it is the games of a Princess Party or the entertainment of the Ventriloquist. The second hour starts with pizza and drinks for the children. This is followed by singing “Happy Birthday”, serving cake and opening gifts. We go so far as to have our staff print a list of the gifts provided (with the name) so that you may enjoy the time with your child. If time allows, some additional games may be played. Go to Top


What refreshments are served?

All parties are designed as a pizza party. We will make sure that there is enough that each child gets at least 2 pieces. Obviously, some children don’t like pizza, so we make sure that there are hot dogs available upon request. As for drinks, we have individual drinks available for the children. Go to Top


What about refreshments for adults?

All parties include pizza and drinks for the children. If you would like to order extra pizzas for adults, we would be happy to provide it at a very reasonable price. Just let us know what you require once the party has started.  Go to Top


Do you supply a cake for the party?

We realize that most parents would prefer to bring their own cake, so it is not included in the price. We will serve the cake and we will also provide the utensils and all the plates and paper products for the cake. If you prefer to bring cupcakes, or an “ice cream” cake, you are more than welcome (we have freezer space for “ice cream” cakes).  Go to Top


Can we bring ice cream to a party?

We understand that some parents like to provide cake & ice cream. The only thing that we request is that you bring ice cream in individual cups. As with the cake, we will provide spoons if required.  Go to Top


What if I want to bring snacks for the party?

If you would prefer to bring snacks, there is an additional clean-up charge. Of course, there is no problem with including snacks in any gift bags that you might bring for the children.  Go to Top


What should I bring to a party?

Just bring the children and the cake. We will take care of the rest, from serving to entertainment to clean-up afterward. We even provide someone to write the list of names and gifts that your children receive  Go to Top


What gifts are provided?

Each guest of honor will receive a “Backstage Pass Party” T-shirt and a Hollywood Slate Board that identifies the Guest of Honor, the date and the occasion. Additionally, each child will also receive a special laminated “Backstage Pass” which will identify the Guest of Honor, the date, the occasion and the participant’s name. With some parties, additional gifts will be provided.  Go to Top


Do you sell gift bags for the children?

Yes, we do have gift bags avail at a very reasonable price. Please call to ask about them. If you would like to provide your own gift bags for each of the children, that is not a problem. We only ask that theses gifts bags are distributed at the end of the party.

Do you provide invitations for the parties?

We do sell bright, colorful invitations at a very reasonable price. Please call to ask about them. If you use your own invitations, we suggest that you put our phone number on the invitation for the day of the party That way, if anyone becomes lost, they can call us for directions

How is a party priced?

Each party is priced at a flat rate for a minimum number of 12 children. This price includes everything but the cake (including tax). The price is calculated to cover all of the expenses for the entertainers, the servers, the refreshments and the gifts. There are no hidden charges. For additional child above the minimum (12), a small fee per child will be added.  Go to Top


Is there a charge for adults?

There is never a charge for adults. Parents are welcome to sit in and enjoy the entertainment, or wait in a lounge as the party progresses. Of course, many parents prefer to drop off the guests and pick them up at the end of the party. Our staff is equipped to handle all of the children attending. For parents who prefer not to sit and wait, we are located in an area (Route 51) with many stores, shops and restaurants at which they can pass the timeGo to Top


What if I want extra gifts?

Additional merchandise is available and is modestly priced. These small gifts include puppets, magic kits, tiaras, etc. We can provide extra T-shirts, Hollywood Slate Boards and other gifts that would match the theme of your party. Go to Top
